Why Cherished Moments?
Hi, I’m Kelley Klahn, wife, mother and a proud grandma to three beautiful grandkids. I had trouble finding exactly what I wanted when buying baby gifts so I turned my creative passion into making unique, personalized gifts for babies, kids and families! And my small business was born.
Before starting Cherished Moments, I created custom Irish dance dresses for girls and young ladies all over the world. The dresses are made from beautiful fabric, detailed embroidery and applique. Most of them took about 100 hours to complete but it was so much fun seeing the dancer look amazing and confident while she danced on stage!

We all know not every product is 100% safe. Cherished Moments takes your family’s safety seriously and do our best to ensure what we make our gifts as safe as possible. Our products are CPSIA compliant.
What Is CPSIA?
CPSI was passed by U.S. Congress and signed into law by President George W. Bush on August 14, 2008. CPSIA is designed to allow the U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC) to better regulate the safety of products made and imported for sale in the U.S. CPSIA also contains regulations that are intended to make products for children under age 12 safer by requiring manufacturers and importers to show that these products do not have harmful levels of lead and phthalates.
We use products that have been tested for these harmful chemicals.
Buyers need to be aware that many products sold on Etsy and foreign products for kids under 3 are not CPSIA compliant. For the safety of your kids, look for the statements on each product listing or directly ask the owner when considering buying anything for your kids online.
